- Security Credentials: Encrypted representations of your Passcode/PIN to safeguard app access on your device.
- Journal Entries & Reflections: Personal content you voluntarily create, including daily emotional Q&A reflections (White Wolf / Black Wolf answers), categorized Mudita deposits, and notes.
- App Usage & Activity Data: Streak progress, earned badges (e.g., Bodhi Tree progression system), coin balance, and history to maintain your motivation rewards.
- User Preferences: Custom configuration settings, such as daily notification schedule and reminder times.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to deliver and improve your experience within My Mudita:
- To authenticate and manage your user account securely.
- To display your personal journal history, emotional check-ins, and calendar records.
- To compute consistent streak progress and award milestone badges and coins.
- To send local push notification reminders according to your configured schedule.
- To provide technical support and respond to customer inquiries.
Privacy Commitment: We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal journal entries or private reflection logs to any third parties or advertisers.
3. Data Storage and Security
We implement rigorous technical measures to protect your emotional and personal data:
- Encryption in Transit: Data transmitted between the app and our server is secured using Industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption.
- Passcode Protection: In-app PIN code locking prevents unauthorized access to your private entries on your physical device.

We engage trusted service providers only to perform essential infrastructure functions:
- Authentication Gateways: Email and SMS verification providers used strictly for delivering OTP codes.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Secure cloud database hosts used for data storage and encrypted backups.
5. Your Rights and Data Control
You maintain complete ownership and control over your personal entries:
- Edit and Delete: You can modify or delete individual deposits and journal logs anytime directly inside the app.
- Passcode Management: You can update or reset your PIN code anytime via the Security Settings screen.
- Account Deletion: You have the right to request the total permanent deletion of your account and related data from our servers by contacting support.
6. Children's Privacy
My Mudita is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will promptly delete it.
